The Tom C. Maynor Rehabilitation Center, an acute rehabilitation facility, was established in 1999 to create a facility that allowed patients to receive intensive rehabilitation and 24-hour care, yet stay conveniently close to home and family. In the spring of 2002, the Center was dedicated in honor of retired local businessman Tom C. Maynor in recognition of his strong advocacy on behalf of stroke survivors and their families. Today, the center excels in helping patients achieve maximum function, exceeding national benchmarks on multiple measures.
